This workshop is an opportunity for participants to engage in gentle movement and meditation inspired by the traditional Chinese practice of Qigong. In this class, our instructor will guide participants through slow, flowing body movements, deep rhythmic breathing, and calming meditation.

About the event
Join us for an hour of meditation and qigong-style movement to promote mental clarity and physical well-being. Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice aimed at supporting the mind and body through slow and deliberate movements and meditative breathing. In this Qigong-inspired class, our instructor will help you integrate slow, flowing body movements, deep rhythmic breathing and a calm meditative state of mind for health and relaxation. Registration is required (see form below).
About the instructor: Jocelyn spent her career as a social worker supporting children and adults, before joining Shanthi Project in 2021. A longtime practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, her focus over the last few years has been on qigong, practicing daily and seeking out formal instruction. She wants to share the benefits and delights she experiences with others. Jocelyn is a certified Mindful Schools instructor and has completed a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program.
