When Post-Election Stress Remains

In the wake of the political climate, elections, pandemic, flu season, the holidays, and everything else we all have on our plates, it is challenging to find opportunities for self-care and stress management. We were honored to partner with Lehigh University Art Galleries on a recent virtual workshop to address the stress of the election.

On November 5, 2020, Shanthi Project teacher, Dr. Kristin Baxter, and Associate Professor of Art at Moravian College, took viewers through a powerful mindfulness meditation and guided yoga to reduce fears, stress, and help us all sit with hard feelings. Plus, find your inner calm this holiday season during her hands-on art activity inspired by a work from the LUAG collection.

Catch the video recap using the link below for "Post-Election Overload: Self-Care Workshop."

We look forward to more programs that support social-emotional well-being as Part 1 of LUAG's Well, Well, Well: Picturing Wellness continues through May 28, 2021.

If you enjoyed this workshop, Shanthi Project has event more mindful art videos on our YouTube channel too! We hope this workshop brings you some peace of mind.
